- 03.11.2010 - The revival goes through innovation
- Metef-Foundeq confirms its role as a reference event for the international metals industry, a showcase of technological excellence made in Italy, with a major focus on the theme of innovation, a necessary step for the effective competitiveness of our industrial system. Thus concrete innovation in practice will be on display at Metef by small and medium-sized companies that make up the actual market, which come into daily and direct contact with clients and the competition, which must innovate to survive, day after day inventing the most direct way to access knowledge or take advantage of opportunities.
On the opening day of the exhibition there will be a round table entitled "Innovation and research for an achievable future", with the participation of representatives of the political world, institutions, and industries. Following this, the prize giving for the winners and honourable mentions in the first edition of the Metef Innovation Award 2010, to which a Poster Display will also be dedicated during the exhibition.
- 03.11.2010 - Inntec-CSMT seminars on innovative technologies
- Inn.Tec a and CSMT organize, at Metef-Foundeq, in collaboration with the University of Brescia a series of seminars, presenting new innovative technologies as part of the process of manufacturing, finishing and support for companies operating in the aluminum system. The topic of the seminars is mechanochemical technologies for the enhancement of traditional metallic materials, technologies for surface treatment of metals and the realization of superficial micro alloys, the techniques for multi-spectral analysis of materials and the opportunities arising from the application of processing machines, such as Sputtering and PHCVD, in the field of high performance coating technologies.
The seminars will also include information on energy audits in small and medium enterprises for defining measures to improve energy efficiency and presentations concerning the opportunities offered by an innovative software for design and optimization of diecasting moulds.
The seminars will take place on April 14, 15 and 16 in the Hall 7 at the Inntec CSMT stand.

- ICE, the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, has granted its prestigious patronage to Metef-Foundeq 2010. This is a well deserved recognition to the internationalization policy that the organizers of the event have been carrying out for months by means of dedicated initiatives and several foreign delegations attending the exhibition.
